Just sunk into the temptation of buying an iPad for the use of the Logos App this last Monday. It was Irresistible Grace! (just of works, it costed money!) I was surprised at how efficient the Logos App was in it's early stages, can't imagine how it's going to be as development progresses! Having the Logos Library made it more than worth it to get the iPad. Before I was a little hesitant, as I didn't just want a bigger iPod touch, but I wanted to read Logos books in a book-sized screen. The iPad is an excellent resource to use as an e-book reader with Logos! So awesome with it remembering what page you were on last even after opening several other different books. The tagging/linking is awesome in seeing footnotes, scripture verses, quotes, misc info, etc! I had no complaints! I had a couple of minor suggestions, but forgot what they were.
One thing I thought was odd though was that I could get the first three volumes of Norman Geisler's Systematic Theology, but the fourth one is not available. I would of thought if they already got his permission/license to use on the iPad, that would include the fourth volume.
Tip: Don't download your entire music library if it's huge to the iPad, most users are probably not even going to use their music on an iPad, but on the smaller and more convenient iPod. I thought it was funny when one of my friends got worried the iPad wasn't going to have a large enough hard drive space, but that's because he downloaded all of his music and photos to it, and he even is going to use it primary for Logos.
