I love Proclaim, quite a bit in fact. Formerly used PP and EW, very happy with Proclaim.The syncing is my number one feature.
As a relatively new convert, less than six months, I want to give you some constructive criticism while it's fresh in my mind... this is coming from personal use, but also watching my volunteers get extremely frustrated with the product.
1. Backgrounds don't loop correctly. Even using media directly from the 3rd part library (I have the full subscription), the backgrounds don't loop at the proper points. It ends up being very jarring on some looping videos.
2. Proclaim is great when everything is planned out. On-the-fly, however, is another thing.
- If you edit a slide you're currently displaying, the changes are reflected LIVE. Not good.
- Is there a way to develop it so that you can change the default action of the on air button? I almost never want to go on air from the beginning, and it has messed me up so many times.
- The on-the-fly bible verse animations are too slow. Too slow to build, and too slow to animate in. Not everyone has a pastor that gives us sermon notes in advance. :-)
- I want to be able to right click on an item in the left sidebar and click edit from there. WITHOUT it changing to that slide on-air.
- Also, when I'm editing a slide in "Edit" and I switch back to "Preview", it displays all my content from the beginning, making me scroll all the way down to the item I was editing to display it. When I go back to preview from editing, I want the grid display to be somewhere around the item I was editing. This one is REALLY frustrating, especially when editing sermon content at the end of a long script.
I'm glad to make a video or join a video conference to help demonstrate these issues, as I believe they can be serious hindrances to adoption in some churches.
