Bought a new laptop (MacBook) to replace my 5-6 year old laptop.
The 40gb of downloads was proceeding slowly because downloads would cease when the laptop went into low power mode (because I would step away). Though this shouldn't be the case because I configured the MacBook to stay awake when away. Apple support said I probably needed to restart the computer for the "stay awake" settings to take effect.
Well, I was 2gb into the 40gb+ download. So I had a "chat" session with Logos so see how things would be if I shut down Logos, rebooted the Mac, then relaunched Logos. Logos tech said "No problem. I shut down Logos, restarted the new laptop, relaunched Logos. Now I'm not so sure I should have done this. Immediately Logos started indexing the 2gb that had been downloaded. The message "Preparing your library" has been up for almost an hour. The indexing completed. And nothing is downloading (Well, what is strange is I'm seeing "% progress" increasing s l o w l y and slow # of resources updated (130 for the last hour), but the modem lights aren't flickering and it seems nothing is happening.
Need some help/perspective!
