Welcome! Sorry you are having troubles [:s]
Download and install performed four times without resolution
Rarely is that a fix. Two reasons:
Logos 7 installed on MacBook running 10.13.5.
Knowing which specific version of the engine might be helpful, but most likely logs will be needed to assess your situation. Please follow the appropriate link in my signature line to learn about enabling and submitting logs.
Starting yesterday my Logos is also crashing while starting the program. So bad! I hope a solution will be posted soon. Months working smoothly and this is happening suddenly, just now.
Gabe.

Welcome [:D]
Faithlife has Mac Support => https://www.logos.com/support/mac that includes Logos Crashes or Fails to Open
Report a problem => https://www.logos.com/support/mac/report-problem includes Logos Logging Utility link. Humanly would like to look at diagnostic log files.
While have experienced many crashes doing beta testing, two situations come to mind that always quickly crash:
1) New Mac Installation trying to open desktop application from downloaded disk image
Solution is dragging Logos (or Verbum) from dmg to a folder: e.g. Applications => https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/install
FYI: Logos 7 install => https://www.logos.com/install includes Mac link on the right while installation instructions do not mention Mac needs desktop application dragged from dmg to a folder before opening (from your folder):
2) Opening an older desktop application
Desktop application checks database version in your Application Support files. If your database version is newer (e.g. 7.16 Beta 3) than application (e.g. 7.15 SR-1), then application crashes to prevent corruption of your database files.
Keep Smiling [:)]
