Speed

Logos 7 is painfully slow. It takes much longer to do sermon prep than it should because I am constantly dealing with stuff loading slowly and/or getting (Not Responding) messages. What can I do to speed up this program short of buying a new computer?

I'm using an Acer Aspire with an Athelon processor with Windows 10.

Please elaborate on hardware specifications. Acer is a manufacturer that made many Aspire models with a variety of Athlon processors. If laptop has a spinning hard disk (HDD), then replacing disk with Solid State Drive (SSD) would be noticeably faster. Noticed a number of Acer Aspire models have SSD while others have HDD.

For application use, having less open tends to be more responsive (along with knowing how to quickly open more as desired). Logos wiki has => Logos is running very slowly. What can I do? and Speeding up responses
