Pual vs Nifal

I am looking for something that discusses the difference between teh Pual and the Nifal. Both can be used as the passive of the Qal. I was looking for slightly nuanced aspects of both and why a author might choose one over the other. Any suggestions?

Pual is the passive of the Piel (which is basically an intensive).

The semantics of the Niphal are a bit more complex. Page 77 of the above referenced resource gives these uses:

(i) the passive (mostly of the Qal)

(ii) the reflexive (mostly of the Qal)

c. Some verbs occur in the Niphal, but not in the Qal, and then express an active meaning of the verb
