Morris Proctor recently showed us how Logos can bring up OT passages when we're reading the NT.
Is there a way when reading the OT to know if and where a verse is quoted in the NT.?
Hi Maurice - and welcome to the forums
Can you provide a link to where Morris talks about this?
There are a number of different tools that can be used to help with this and I am trying to see whether what Morris used can be "reversed" or when some other technique needs to be used.
Thanks, Graham
PS: I would recommend editing your note (click More->Edit) and removing your email address to remove the risk of it being picked up by spambots
Thanks, I have removed it!
Maurice
Have the Information tool open and click or hover over a word in a passage:
Scroll down to Other References, looking for Intertext.
This method can be applied to a NT passage e.g. Rev 21:1 will have an Intertext that points back to Is 65:17
