Web App does not go to home page
Hello,
I am on Chromebook have noticed recently when I go to app.logos.com instead loading the home page it would either load notes or it will open to the bible and commentary. I deleted my history but do not want to do that every time. Anyone else have this issue? Also if i just want to read a book it will open the bible and study notes that goes with the bible. Which does get some what annoying having to close those out because you don't need them.

Try cleaning cache. You only have to do it once.

I set my web page like I want it, then saved it as a bookmark (using Chrome- star at top next to address bar). Now when I click the bookmark, it opens where I last saved it. Now, the down side is I have to delete the bookmark and re-save each use to get it where I want it for the next use.

The web app should load to whatever state it was in when you last used it. The desktop app has a setting that allows you to specify if you want to load to the homepage, your last layout, a blank layout, or a particular layout. We'll bring that to the web app eventually. But in the absence of that setting, we have to pick one. We started by always opening to the homepage with the Bible + Commentary layout opened behind it, but we decided to switch to remember your last layout/state.
In the near future, we'll have a "close all" button so you can quickly get to an empty layout. And as Michael pointed out, since we store the entire state in the URL you can create browser bookmarks for various layouts as well.
It looks like there's a bug in the current implementation. If you close the app with a blank layout, instead of loading back to a blank layout it loads the Bible + Commentary layout. I'll have the team look into that.

Yes close out of the layout completely so when i close the browser its on the home page. When i use my bookmark to go to the home page it will open the bible and commentary instead of the home page. I did have layouts saved. So l had devotional set up the way i wanted. Ended up deleting everything because of this issue. I tried it on my windows laptop with edge browser works as you would think. So I will try to make sure i close out of everything and back on the home page. Before I close my browser. re save certain layouts. I actually do like the fact that if you just close out of the browser before you are done you can reopen back to the same place which is nice. I guess just one of those catch 22 things. It will take me a while to get use to as I use it more and more on my chromebook. Overall its a very good web app does a lot more then I originally thought it would.
