Notes and Searching Across Platforms
As our friends at Logos haven't quite figured out how to fully utilize and sync notes across platforms, I'm wondering if any of you wonderful people out there have come up with some good ideas to make your notes easily searchable between the computer and mobile devices. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks!

Welcome, Aaron!
The new notes system (in beta on desktop) is not yet supported on mobile, but will be before too long... Are you using the new or old system on desktop? If the latter, your notes should be syncing.

Hello Reuben! Thanks for the reply! I don't think I'm using anything that's in beta as I didn't go out of my way to install anything new, just the normal sync process. Perhaps I'll look it up to see what additional functionality I can get.
My notes do sync across desktop and mobile, but they're difficult to navigate on mobile. There's no way to search them beyond "document name" as far as I can find. For lack of a better way to organize my notes, they're organized by book. If say, my brother asks me a question when I'm not at a computer and I know I've made a note specifically regarding that thought or question, I can't find it unless - A. I remember the book I made the note in and B. I have to read every note in that document to find the exact note I'm thinking of.
On many notes, I've put tags so I can easily search for them on the desktop, but I haven't been able to figure out a good way to do that on mobile. The only thing I've been able to come up with is to create identical notes in several different documents titled as I title the "tag"
For example, if I have a single note regarding a verse in Revelation and I tag it with "eschatology", "grace", "seven churches", but I can't remember that I found the note in Revelation rather than maybe Isaiah or Jeremiah I can't easily find it on the Mobile App. I can't search for the tags nor do I (in the example) recall that it's in Revelation.
Now if I create the exact note in multiple documents each titled exactly as I have tagged the note - "eschatology", etc. - then I can search in the Mobile App and find it as that's what Logos' search function seems to currently use. That's not exactly a convenient nor a clean way to set up notes so I can find them when I'm out and about. Plus, this method creates a myriad of other problems - it would take me a year or more to replicate every note across new documents that match the name of the tags. What about the notes that don't have tags? How do I make them more searchable?
So I'm wondering, has anyone come up with a better option for organizing notes so the search function on Mobile will actually help? Does the beta notes actually help with these problems? I'm really hoping Logos hires some new programmers that can actually make use of today's incredible technology as I see other similar apps have made outstanding use of their search options across all three platforms. Logos is years behind the curve on this and it's quite disappointing.

Searching notes doesn't exist on Android. Are you on iOS?
