Add External Book to Clippings?

I think I know the answer, but wanted to ask just in case. Is it possible to add a non-Logos to a Clippings file? It would be great to have all this ability to do so and not have to have two separate files going at once to collect this type of information.

You couldn't create a clipping from an external book, but you could paste text into one.

Would you use a bible as the point of reference for your clipping? Or, is there a way to create a blank clipping that I’m just not seeing?

Probably, because you can't create a blank clipping
