Public API?

Any plan to make some of the backend public? Query datasets? Preferably so if a user owns the dataset they can get a token to access the dataset through any utility made by third party. (But I wonder if it would make sense to license access to third parties also through a web api? Maybe YouVersions wants to add some cool Logosy features. Maybe a church website wants a custom widget for their home page based off some Logos feature...) Don't really know what I'm talking about or thinking about. Just wondering? Say for ex, if L8 or LSoon doesn't have a graphical query tool, could we make one so that when a user drags a Sense widget on to the canvas, we'd be able to autocomplete Senses for users. Or if we wanted to make a faceted library browser... build facets based on users catalog, run query, etc.

I would like to know whether its possible for some of us who work as programmer to access logos via API, if its possible we can even write our own interface or a Linux client.
