Alpha 20 is available

We've just posted Alpha 20. We'll be posting release notes in a bit and updating them throughout the day (as usual).

If you want A20 right now, you can restart Logos 4 Mac and it should auto-update, or just type "Update now" into the command bar, or redownload it from www.logos.com/logos4mac.

P.S. This build will require a full reindex due to changes detecting non-bible resources which support Morph searches.

You might just try deleteing Logos Bible Software 4 from /Applications and redownloading from www.logos.com/logos4mac.

I'm still having trouble looking up references. If I open the NRSV and type Jeremiah, while I'm typing I get a popup that completes what I'm typing. If I click on the reference there, it works. But if I hit "reteurn" in the actual entry box, it doesn't work. That means I have to move to the mouse and do a selection, which seems completely unnecesary. Why not accept a return?

Also, I've put my Bibles in a collection. When I open collections, I'd expect to be able to select one and have it open. But neither double click on return will do that. I've found that if I have a blank space somewhere I can drag the icon to it and the Bible will open, but that seems unnecessarily obscure.

That did the trick. I just need to wait until I get home from work to index. Left my magsafe at home.

Oh, yeah, we removed the "Pause indexing automatically if running on battery power" for A20, so if you've got enough battery life, you can index while unplugged.

My A20 is hosed up! I tried to delete and start again by removing the application from the applications folder and redownloading but I cannot even delete it. The trash bin will not empty. Are we going backwards here?

Try restarting your computer and then empty the trash. I've had the same problem before, and restarted worked.

I tried that with NO success. I get error code 8003 when trying to empty the trash.

Thanks for the footnote reference when pasting from a book into pages. This will make my study much easier to track back when I look at it in a years time!

I know this took you a lot of effort, so I'm really grateful for this feature.

I totally agree. It is so nice, I was having to use Microsoft PowerPoint as a stepping stone, now I can bypass that completely and use the lovely Pages '09! Thanks Logos for giving us Mac Users the tools we need to communicate and share the Word of God with others!!!!
