Logos update

Logos has been updating almost all day. Is there a new release?

This morning downloaded aprox 250MB of updates + Indexing

At noon aprox another 190MB of updates + Indexing

Right now is downloading 1.9GB of updates

There is no pre-pub scheduled to be released in my account.

Is there a new version being released?

Since Logos 4 does not tell the user (as in Logos 3) what is being downloaded I do not have a clue what is going on

Does some one knows

The downloads for updating Logos 4.0b to Logos 4.0c were substantial. 4.0c was released over a week ago. Perhaps you are just now updating to this version?

But I just had a small update, and I've been running beta update channel. I installed the update, and now my machine is indexing (almost finished).

For several days now I have had Logos 4.0c (4.03.3.9511). I just launched Logos4 on a desktop to watch, it downloaded (short), then I got "Resources ready to be added to your library."

Must be some revisions of resources, corrections of typos, etc.

Just check your Resources folder for the latest ones (by Date) - could be logos4Help which was released to Beta as well as stable.

Part of it was probably the newly updated reverse interlinears.

But I just had a small update

I had about 1.2 GB download initially and then a couple of smaller ones. Since I have the new RI in my beta installation I stopped the download and scanned that directory to bring them in and that cut the download from 1.2 GB to something under 200 MB. So if you installed 4.0c over the beta you probably would not have a large download. If not, you will.

You probably don't want to go to that link. That shows a comparison of the changes made between one version of the features list and a final update of it (the complicated URL was a dead giveaway). Just go to the 4.0c features list itself: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4.0c
