Suggestion: enable/disable section/chapter/verse division markers

I am interested in a feature that allows readers to make invisible chapter, verse, and section headings from any Bible. These kinds of coordinates are useful for proof texting, but can hinder casual or experiential readings. It would be nice if there was a way to enable or disable them as needed.

I am not a professional scholar or minister, only a layman looking for better ways of experiencing the Bible. There are times when the chapter and section headings interfere with my ability to parse the Bible's literary form and function.

Hi Anna, welcome to the forums!

If you click on the three dot icon you will get a drop-down menu that has "Bible Text Only" on it. From there you can select or deselect the kinds of things you would like to see or not see in the text:

Thank you! And for the app, I discovered that the same set of settings also exist under the three-dot menu, but that you have to scroll down the options menu to find the last entry "view settings." It would be nice to have it in a more convenient location on the app, but as long as the option is there I'm satisfied.
