It's rare to get any discount on BECNT volumes. It's a shame that the discount is not greater on the latest BECNT pre-pub. It's not sufficient to entice me to commit at this stage, which I'm sure is the whole point of pre-pub pricing. It would be great if Baker were more generous. I would have loved to have ordered this one, but at this price I'll consider buying if I'm preaching on Romans rather than place my order now.

I went to the Baker site and it looks like GK Beale will be putting out a new Colossians/Philemon volume in April 2019... What happened to the old volume?
Also I noticed on the baker site that the Philippians has a 2nd edition produced in 2005 but from what I can tell on the Logos page we still have the first edition.

I'd love it if a discount was given for those who already owned the original Logos volume. I can't imagine enough has changed to merit a repurchase of the entire volume. Seems like something the publisher should be willing to work with Logos on.

For most buyers of something like this I don't think the percentage off is as important as the overall price and the cost of the Logos version compared to other versions. In this case CBD has the best price with the HC being $46.99 and their epub being $32.99. K is a little more pricey at $36.32 for me and they don't have any discount on the HC.
If people value their Logos' tagging and such then they will certainly pay the price or use their birthday money or wait for it to go on sale. I think the only concern for Logos is that new customers who are considering buying into the Logos walled garden will be put off when they see that new releases are going to cost more (when they're available at all).

It would be nice if there were also a $10 Logos credit like there was with the 2 Corinthians volume when that went on pre-pub. I think that was the last volume published in the series. It would certainly tempt me to order now.
