I am trying to write instructions for the use of Verbum/Logos for laity in liturgical churches. This means I need to learn the web version as well as I know the desktop. So I'm going to be asking a lot of really dumb questions, especially verifying that functions don't exist on the web site. Please be patient with me.

1. Is it true that you must set your preferred Bible and other priorities from the desktop?

2. Is it true that there is no default way to access the day's reading from the lectionary? One has to open the lectionary and the Bible manually?

3. Is there anyway to bring up a definition of an English word?

Not an expert, but here is answers to a few of your questions:

1. I believe the defaults come from the desktop app. You can change the bible on the home page as follows, but it defaults back the next time. (My experience):

3. The right mouse context menu allows for selection of a dictionary for English word look up:

From there you can select the // parallel resources menu to change dictionaries:
