English dictionary
Hello:
Is there any way to make the android app show the definition of any English word of a book tapping on it? Even better, the translation to Spanish. I own dictionaries but the app insists on researching the whole library. The app works as I need with greek text, for example (the translation is in the 'info' pop-up) but I don't manage to make it work the same way for an English text.

This is not a feature of the iOS app, and I assume the same is true on Android.
On iOS, the operating system dictionary takes over IF there is no underlying original language word available (for bibles). On iOS, the user must manually download the dictionary, which is a function completely outside of the Logos app. I do not know how it works on Android.

Thanks. It is quite strange since the search works very well with greek words. Therefore, the 'info' pop up doesn't show anything except if it is an ancient word, right?
Is there a way to force the search to a certain dictionary, or at least to show its result in the first row?

Not easily
You could create a collection on the desktop just containing the dictionary you want.
Then you could select that collection when doing the Basic Search - instead of searching your entire library - and that should give you all occurrences of the word in the dictionary. But there is no guarantee (probably fairly unlikely) that the first occurrence would be the definition. But it should be easier than searching the entire library.

I've just downloaded a free little app called 'u-dictionary'. Whenever I copy a word, a pop-up shows the definition and translation. It seems to work with logos quite well.
