Very slow since update

I'm running 7.18.0.002 (7.18 Beta 1) and it has been very slow since the update.

I've tried shutting down all other programs, even turned off my computer and restarted everything and only started up Logos, and the results have been the same.

I'm not sure where to post this, hence the post here. If there's another forum it should go into, please let me know and I'll repost there.

BTW, it is only Logos that is slow on the computer, everything else is fine.

I thought I had solved the issue for a moment, but alas, no luck.

I was using a saved layout and when I closed one of the resources and the search window, everything sped back up. I completed my search again, and opened the resource that I wanted so I could copy the link to the resource into a note file.

I guess I'm not going to learn much about the Hivites through the Archeological Encyclopedia of the Holy Land -- not that there's much to learn anyway

Actually, once I close the search window and the AEHL, everything does return to normal.

I'm now back working on other things within Logos 7 with no complaints.

Any issue with the Beta should be posted in the Desktop Beta forum.

If you can reproduce the problem, post in that forum with details of the Search.
