SUGGESTION: Small tweak to Factbook

Because animals in the Bible often intentionally imply a great deal of cultural knowledge which is not known to urban Americans, animals in scripture often require additional attention. Therefore, several things are necessary/highly desirable:

  • animals should be broken out of "things" with a separate icon - a visual clue this is "different" from the majority of things.
  • animals should not be left with only a "topic" category - we need to have "Referred to As", "Lemmas", "Senses". The animals I found this evening while adding Community Tags that I had to attach to "topic rather than "thing-animal" records:
    • adder
    • asp
    • wild boar
    • chameleon
    • chamois
    • coney
    • cuckoo
    • fox
    • gier eagle
    • glede
    • hind
    • kite
    • lapwing
    • leviathan
    • lice
    • osprey
    • roe/roebuck
    • satyr
    • serpent
    • unicorn
    • weasel
    • whale
    • jerboa
    • night-hawk
    • turtle-dove

Example of inconsistency in data:

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
