In studying Genesis 1:1-2:3, I went from the Biblical Event Navigator to Factbook. Then I did a double take and said to myself for the umpteenth time "Don't just trust the results. Think." The problem is two-fold:
- the reference to the Holy Spirit which I believe to be an anachronism and/or mislabeling of foreshadowing ... but I know that is a battle where I am in the minority, being more strict in the definition of "what does the text literally say" than those doing the coding.
- what is missing? creating man/woman, giving him food (plants to eat) and dominion over living things aren't important enough to be given note in "important things" or "topics and themes" Are we simply ignoring vv 26-30?
I would expect to see humanity as an important thing, food and dominion of man as Topics and Themes.
