The Passion Translation

Morning. I've noticed a number of millennials using 'The Passion Translation.' Whilst I love its perspective, is it a recognized translation? If so, where did it gain recognition from? If not, what should it be called? Some help on this would be most appreciated. Tx, Brad

I know nothing of this translation, so I can't be of help there, but I am curious... "Recognized" by whom? Denominations, Schools or local churches might "recognize" certain translations, but that would depend upon those institutions. Otherwise, there is no one to "recognize" any translation!

Can you explain what you mean?
