I'm flummoxed trying to find a search for passages that speak of the Father “giving” and the Son “receiving” (e.g., John 5:19, 22, 26, 27, 36; 10:18; 17:2, 8, 11, 22; 18:11)
Nothing I've tried seems to get close.
Thanks,
Bill
In John 5:19, the Sense for Father doing is to do (act) so an initial clause search of the Gospels is:
Subject:God Sense:to do (act)
that includes five results in John so expanded search by adding Sense in John 5:22
Subject:God (Sense:to do (act) OR Sense:to give (transfer))
John 10:18 has a prepositional phrase that can be found using clause search:
adverbial:God sense:to receive
Combining clause searches:
(Subject:God (Sense:to do (act) OR Sense:to give (transfer))) OR (adverbial:God sense:to receive)
finds all example verses plus lots more.
