Why so many apps?

I am not sure what the difference is between the Faithlife Study Bible, Logos, Verbum, Vyrso, and Noet Apps. Would someone please explain?

Mobile App

First, they are basically the same "under the hood." Why are there different apps? Mostly to hit different target demographics.

Logos - Pastors, faculty, students. It is the counterpart to the main desktop app.
Verbum - Identical to Logos, geared towards Catholic users.
Faithlife - A study bible app with social media. Geared more towards laity.
Faithlife Ebooks - (formerly called Vyrso) is geared towards eBook readers (think local christian book store... "christian life," "amish romance novels," etc.
Noet - Geared towards secular / academic users, primarily of the "classics" (Shakespeare, Homer, etc.)
