Visual Filter - I'm missing something!

I'm trying to create a visual filter in the NASB for "bara," ברא, so the word "create" will display "bara" after the English "create."

Created a style for ברא with text after "bara." Created a morph visual filter for ברא, assigned the style . . . and, nothing. I'm surely missing something.

P.S. I'm thinking this option with visual filters has lots of potential!

I don't know where to learn the correct coding, but here's what I've done instead of all that hard learning:

Find an instance of the word for which you want to create a visual filter in the resource you want to apply the filter to.
Right click on the word, select "Lemma" and "Search this Resource"
From the search report select all the text in the search box and place it in your visual filter.

There you go, same stuff, and no code learning, or Hebrew language typing required.

Works like a charm! I just created a visual filter for the "toledot" structual marker in Genesis . . . this is very helpful and will be a great teaching tool!

From the search report select all the text in the search box and place it in your visual filter.

Richard is right. It's usually easiest to start from the resource itself. If you're creating a new visual filter you can also click Make Filter at the top of the search, once your search has been performed.

The main problem you had, by the way, was because of the homograph. In case you're interested the search code breakdown is as follows:

< … > tells Logos your searching for a reference
lemma is self-explanatory
= means 'is exactly'. For reference searching you can also use ~ which means includes (e.g. <bible ~ John 3:16> will match John 3:15-17 whereas <bible ~ John 3:16> won't)
af is Anderson-Forbes morphology
he is Hebrew
1: is only necessary for homographs. Different words with the same spelling are tagged 1: 2:, 3: etc.
ברא is also self-explanatory
