The FBOTM pick up, Ancient Christian Devotional is part of a three volume work. I got all three volumes. I notice now that years A and C do not show the parallel resource button on my desktop. However, year B does. Anybody else notice this?
You can't use the parallel resource menu when you're displaying the page number in the reference box, only when you're displaying the english headword, or Bible reference etc. or, in this case, the Liturgical Calendar reference.
Like most resources, these books don't have headwords in the front matter, and therefore the parallel resource menu won't display. However, if you navigate to a different part of the volume that does have headwords, the menu button will appear. If you subsequently go back to the front matter it won't disappear again, even though you can't use it.
So I suspect that in volume B you have navigated further into the volume (on this opening) while on the other two resources you haven't.
thanks, Mark. I'll play around with that, but to my knowledge, all of them had been opened at some time or the other and navigated to the October weeks and then I went back to the title page for this screen clipping just so people could see the resource title, easily. I'm not at my laptop, now, so I will have to wait to check.
do you have the resources and do you show the parallel resource button in all?
nvm, I followed up and see it now. That is a helpful explanation, thanks.
