When attaching a note to a selection, the selection becomes highlighted with the color of the note indicator box in the text.
This color can be changed by left-clicking on the box in the notes window.
In version 3 the markup style could be selected from any choice in the visual markup palate. I always used a fine dotted line because it was unobtrusive while still marking the selected passage.
I have not been able to get to the palate from any “notes” related function. Does anyone have a workaround for this? I would like to be able to use a line of some sort to mark selected passages in notes, rather than a highlighted background.
Ironically, the notes imported from V.3 carried over the dotted underline that was selected from the palate in V.3.
