Manually set read status

Is it possible to manually set read status? E.g. I read the paper copy, or I read enough to know I'm finished etc. Could we have more flexibility such as: read, unread, consulted, discuss further (when tracking use for a writing project), read (not relevant).

Some books I've even read in Logos and it didn't notice... On my physical bookshelf I use stickers with emoji such as happy faces, sad faces, red faces or green faces etc.

I know there is personal tagging but that isn't quite the same as the status data. Am I missing a trick?
