library.logos.com doesn't work this afternoon
I was reading a book just fine over lunch. Just tried to open it up real quick and now I get something that looks kinda like the desktop app, except that nothing works. I'm using a Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2, stock WM 6.5, and stock Opera 9.5. It's doing sorta the same thing in Internet explorer too, except I don't even get the buttons, let alone get them to work.
OK, I found where the beta version sets a cookie, so I deleted my cookies, but I still only get the desktop looking thing (as expected as it had been days since I had even looked at the beta version). It appears the beta version is the only version now, and it doesn't work on my phone. Please, I'm begging you, give me back the old version.

Looks like they fixed it. I now get the old mobile site on both my phone and desktop when I visit library.logos.com. Thank you.

And, it's broken again this afternoon. Is anyone from Logos reading this? Hello? Is this going to break every afternoon?

And now it's working again.

It's not working this morning either.

Not working for me either. Very frustrating.

Last time I saw it broke was early Saturday morning. I've probably just been lucky since it seems to flip flip every couple hours.

Well, this is different. It's giving me the beta version on my desktop (Even if I add ?beta=false, but the mobile version on my phone.

I don't have any problems getting the mobile version on Firefox. But IE7 goes to the beta version no matter what I do.

I've had the exact same issues. It intermittently directs the mobile device to library.logos.com/?beta=true, which doesn't even show up on my blackberry, but shows as just the beta site header on other browser...either way, it looks like the server is intermittently breaking the site for mobile devices by directing us to the wrong page.
As a workaround, when you do get onto the right site, bookmark a page within the site like the reading plan page or a page in a book; that will not allow the server to direct you to the wrong site and you'll be on the correct site as long as you don't click on home.

I tried your suggested workaround last week, but it didn't work for me. I've been reading some stuff with Laridian this week, so I haven't noticed if they it's still ongoing. Does Logos not monitor this group? No Logos employee seems to have commented on it here.

Sorry for not responding to this thread-- this problem was reported earlier in another thread, so I've been posting to that one. This problem should be resolved now. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

It happened again this morning somewhere between 7:30 and 8:30 am (eastern time) although it appears to be resolved now.

It doesn't work for me right now either. I keep getting redirected and it closes my phone's browser. That's using stock browser or xscope on motorola droid running 2.1.

I intermittently continue to get this problem. However, a workaround whenever it appears is to type the following into the address bar of your mobile web browser:
http://library.logos.com/resources.html
This is a page that doesn't exist on the beta site that it keeps trying to direct you to, so you will be moved back over to the mobile site. The only downside is that if you then click on the home icon (Like to get to your reading plans) it will direct you back to the beta site (when it is broken). So I recommend that if you have reading plans that you actually bookmark the reading plan page so that you can always get to it even when the servers are directing you to beta.

After a month of it working, it's broken again. Is this ever going to be fixed or is the mobile version an abandoned project? This is getting very frustrating.

Jeffrey,
library.logos.com (and its beta) is in fact abandoned (although every time I've gone to the URL it has worked). The one Logos is working on is biblia.com (in beta). I forgot where the thread was but was announced by Logos.

My impression is that the mobile version of library.logos.com is staying up indefinitely but the Beta version of library.logos.com was abandoned for biblia.com. It'll still be up but not developed any further.

Mitch I don't believe this is accurate. Only the library.logos.com/?beta=true is abandoned. The mobile version is not (library.logos.com or library.logos.com/?beta=false).

Jacob,
Biblia.com is the new destination.
From Biblia.com beta is live! - Logos Bible Software Forums :
Biblia represents a change in direction from the "beta" version of http://library.logos.com?beta=true, with a design made for the web, not transplanted from desktop software. Eventually we see it as a replacement for http://bible.logos.com as well. (Both of these other sites will remain live for the indefinite future, though.)
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

It appears that the mobile version will stay around. Biblia.com would not handle the limited screen real-estate of a smartephone very well.

Kevin,
I agree except for that statement of Bob's that "eventually we see it as a replacement for http;//bible.logos.com as well."

That's exactly what I said. It replaces the beta site and the bible.logos.com site, but not the library.logos.com site which as of now, seems to be the go-to destination for library access on the mobile device (However, the Bibla.com interface is very very nice for reading but at this time does not support reading plans, word studies, passage guides, text comparisons, favorites, and searching).

Thomas, are you getting library.logos.com and bible.logos.com mixed up?

Biblia.com will replace bible.logos.com in the not-too-distant future. Biblia.com is also intended to replace library.logos.com?beta=true, however, we're going to leave that site up.
Biblia.com does have limited mobile support, but is not replacing the mobile library.logos.com site. For the time being, library.logos.com provides a much more complete experience for accessing your library from a mobile device.

Sure it would
I see the two columns that I see on the desktop version aren't displayed on a mobile phone. Thanks for the screenshot and sorry about the misinformation!
