Hey James,
I'm not entirely sure as I don't use Facebook, but I did note that I received a FL email this morning letting me know about the new note system and how I can get a preview of it on the Logos web app right now. I know that the new notes is supposed to be a part of Logos 8 so it seems like maybe they are just about done developing notes and are helping users get familiar with the new note system before an impending release? <fingers crossed and hoping>

There is a "known bug" in macOS Finder when duplicate copies of an item are made; macOS will automatically increment the number at the end of the name to the next number. This has been reported on the forums a few times.

The Notes tool has actually been in beta for quite some time and has been able to be used in L7. I guess they are to a point where they are ready for the masses to check it out.
Personally, I have been using the tool for about a year.

I always ask myself, why would someone like to spread false information even as a joke.

FL has not publicly announced a release date, but Bob has previously suggested (years ago) the goal of around a two year release cycle.

You are reading false doctrine. And the only lines to read between are those of pure speculation. It will be when it is, there have been more false prophecies of all the stars being aligned for a Logos 8 release date than there have been end of world prophecies this century.

Me too, for 2 reasons. 1. The present sale ends Oct 26 which seems odd. Usually the sales go to the end of the month. 2. I was asked if a comment of mine regarding the new note tool (which is awesome!) could be used in L8 promotional material.
I wonder if Oct 29 is the day? Who knows????

I think Oct. 29th might be too early. However, if you are going to release a new product before the holidays, it is wise to do it around November to try and get the holiday sales that might come from it.
Though, I know the company just had a pretty good sale on Logos 7 a couple of months ago, and I wonder if that sale wouldn't bother people if just a couple months later Logos 8 comes out.
Though and upgrade program could help to make that feeling less.0 -

Which seems to be broken. I own the L7 extended feature set - and on both pages there are things I verifiable own that do not show up as owned.
Guessing they are tweaking things under the hood. I made a post for this glitch in the appropriate forum.
