Copy and Paste not working
Have Word for Mac 2011, osMojave (14.10), and Logos 7.18 SR-1 (
7.18.0.0020). The copy and paste function in the copy Bible verses tab is not work. It does copy the verse(s) but does not paste them into Word. I have to go to Word and use the copy function. I don't know if this is a result of Mojave or Logos 7.18 SR-1. Anyone have an idea? I'm certainly able to copy and paste using the paste function within Word so this is not a serious problem. Anyone else have this experience? Thanks.

Just read my own post. Poorly written, I apologize. The copy and paste function in the copy Bible verses tab is not working. It does copy the Bible verse(s) but is not automatically pasting them into Word. I have to go to Word and manually paste them in.

Seems like I remember this being a problem with Word for Mac (not sure though). Have you tried with Pages?

Yes it does work with Pages and Open Office so I think you're right the problem is with Word. It is probably because my version is so old, but I had no problem until I downloaded Mojave. Thanks Reuben.

I'm experiencing the same issue since upgrading to MacOS 10.14. The first time I attempted to paste into Word, PowerPoint and TextEdit, I received a prompt to allow Logos to control each respective app. Accepting this prompt adds entries to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Automation, making it appear that Logos should have the access it needs.
However, the system log shows the following error any time Logos attempts to copy/paste to any other application (you can view this by opening Applications > Utilities > Console):
default 12:44:26.018362 -0700 Logos Failed to execute NSAppleScript error message=System Events got an error: Logos is not allowed to send keystrokes.
In my case, the issue is not limited to Microsoft products, as it happens for TextEdit as well as Word and PowerPoint.

Go to your settings, and allow Logos full control of your OS under Accessibility. This resolved the issue for me.

10.14 reset some of the Accessibility permissions by default, thus the need to re-permit them.

Can you elaborate on this a little more...I can't see how to do this.
On my MBP, I went to "Accessibility" in "System Preferences", but I don't know what to do from there.

Instead of System Preferences > Accessibility, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. In the left pane, click Accessibility. You should see Logos in the right pane underneath "Allow the apps below to control your computer", but it won't be checked. If this section is greyed out, you need to click the lock in the lower left corner and enter your credentials to unlock it. Once unlocked, check the box next to Logos and you should be good to go.
If Logos does not show in the right pane, open a new Finder window (side-by-side with System Preferences) and browse to Applications. Find the Logos application icon and drag it over into the System Prefs Accessibility pane.

I didn't see an option for changing anything in Logos 9/Tools. I have Windows 10 for OS.

I'm not quite sure which option you are referring to.
Nd, with this thread being very old and relating to an old version of Logos, I suggest starting a new thread in the Logos Desktop App forum explaining the problem you are seeing.
