Password for Logos Bible software.
It would be useful if there would be a password for the Logos Bible software. Anybody any where wether in a school home or any where may happen to use One’s Computer wether by permition or not. It could be family such as children or friends etc. I think it would be safe for us if the software requires password. You can assume what could happen to your notes.

You should be able to achieve what you want with having separate User Accounts on your computer. For example, on our family computer, each member of my family have their own user account. Each user account has its own password. So the kids cannot log into my account and mess with my Logos.
In addition, if they wanted to have their own Logos account...they could have it on their own User Account on the same computer and it would be completely separate from mine.

Indeed following up from Levi...
All Mac computers have the option for a guest account on the startup screen. This means that I have no fear if somebody else needs to use the computer as anything that they do is transient and only lasts for the duration of the session.

Too many login procedures and requirements (my thoughts). I think a more comfortable solution would be to remove the Logos app/icon from the main desktop and put it in a folder or under the start menu (windows). The password to use Logos would only make sense (to me) if there is a danger of deliberate sabotage.

This could only be made for family. But suppose you are in a place where there are friends or any you want to go to any place for minutes for any reason instead of locking your computer with password you should take your labtop with you or you have to shut down your computer. We should see it in a variety ways.

Tes - I don't think you are expressing your concern fully. What is the issue? Why are you concerned about your "friends" getting on Logos?

Oh, I see. Here's the scenario at my church. I have my laptop in my office, and normally I leave it logged into my account. Tes is saying that anyone during a service (while I am occupied in other parts of the building) could come in and mess with my Logos. In my case, it's a smaller church and I trust the people who come...so it's not an issue for me.
I think if that's your concern, then logging out of your User Account on your laptop is the best solution. And, if others need to use your computer, have a separate user account (a guest account like Mike said) for them.

Or better yet, change your security settings to automatically log you off of your user account after, say, 5 minutes of inactivity. This seems a much faster and efficient approach than having to log in and out of Logos frequently.

Normaly I haven’t experienced any of what I have mentioned above,but for my confidence I would be glad if I could use it with password without any complication and doing extra settings.

How about using the Operating System feature that locks the desktop after you are away for a few minutes. That way, not only Logos is protected, but also your email, web browser, etc.

Windows has a keyboard shortcut: Windows+L to lock screen immediately.
On macOS, can assign Hot Corner for Screen Saver that requires password to unlock
