Logos Mobile 8 FAQ
My app version is now 8.x, do I now own a Logos 8 Base Package or Feature Set?
No. Our app is now version 8.x, but you must buy a Logos 8 product in order to access the L8 only features on mobile.
If I buy a Logos 8 Base Package, what features do I get on the mobile apps?
You get all of the features from v.7, as well as 3 new Logos 8 only features. They are
- Redesigned Homepage. We built this new Homepage from the ground up, giving you quick access to the Bible Study tools and content you use the most. For the first time ever, we have a consistent design language across web, desktop, and mobile.
- Layouts. When we redesigned the Logos app last year, we introduced tabbed browsing. Now, save and load your favorite groups of tabs. Similar to layouts on desktop. The Layout Homepage card allows you to create a shortcut to launch into your favorite layouts from the Dashboard section of the Homepage.
- All new Notes system. With Logos 8, we're introducing an all new and redesigned Notes tool. Now, create and access Notes in our new system, available across web, desktop, and mobile devices.
I enjoyed the feature from v6 where you could quickly jump to your preferred Bible. Are you bringing it back in some form?

What is the minimum supported Operating System to run Logos 8 on iOS or Android?
- iOS 11.2 (or above) is required to run Logos 8 on Apple devices.
- Android 5.1 (or above) is required to run Logos 8 on Android devices.

Daniel, I wished that the release of mobile version 8 had been also something of an event with greater improvements and innovations than that. In particular, it is disappointing to see that:
1. Definitions of words are still not available offline when using info from the context menu after clicking on a word.
2. The order of resources in the search panel is still a real pain.
3. Searches do not operate well offline either.
There is irony to the notion that a "mobile" version requires one to be tethered to a connection.

Wow, this is great!! Lots of ways to avoid the new stuff. Stay a hair back from the latest ios, and avoid packages ... just buy books!
I'm still enjoying Noet 5.17 ... just perfect for reading, and no one constantly changes it. Kind of like Kindle being a great reader.
