4.0c hangs when clicking on Highlighting toolHi,

Hi,

I am running 4.0c with the latest updates on VMware Fusion 3.0.2 with XP as the guest operating system. 4.0c has been working fine and this is the first time I am having a problem. When I click on the Highlighting tool, 4.0c simply freezes.

Did this behavior start after the SR-1 update was installed? Do you recall if any changes were made to palettes or styles prior to it freezing? Had any Visual Filters been added or removed? Does the program eventually unfreeze or do you have to end task on Logos 4 and restart it?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Yes - this occurred after the SR-1 update. Previously, it was perfectly fine. I uninstalled and re-installed my VMware but still no difference.

I did not make any changes. What initially happened was roughly this:

1) when I started Logos4, the layouts froze. I saw only the beige background and the system froze up. I had to end task each time and restart Logos4 each time. When I chose a saved layout (as opposed to an autosaved layout), only then did it NOT freeze. I had to delete the previous autosaved layouts.

2) Then I tried the highlighting tool and it froze. The program does not unfreeze and I have to end task and restart Logos4.

VMware released an update for Fusion today. After upgrading to Fusion 3.1, the highlighting now works fine. Looks like it was a VMware issue rather an a Logos one.
