What is a Course Card?

I tried to add a Course card to Home Page, thinking it would be a Logos Mobile Ed course - I have a lot of them. They still are in my library, but it must not be this as nothing shows up for me to add from "Course". What is it?

It should be unfinished mobile courses. Is Logos indexing?

It is intended for MobileEd courses. Are there any course cards already on the Home Page?

If not, have you started any courses?

Courses cards can be added for any course you have in progress from the Courses Tool. The list will only show those courses which are started, incomplete, and not already on the dashboard.

Ah! Thanks all, I had one 1 course in progress from the Courses tool, and it was already on my Home Page! I get it now. Maybe I'll stop and watch some videos on how to use 8 - I'd h8 to keep asking questions without looking at the help that is already on my pl8 (er, laptop but that doesn't have an 8 in it).

I also tried to add a Course card and saw no courses listed although I am working on a course, but not using the course tool. It would just be on the left with all active courses in Logos 7 and that is how I accessed it. So after looking at this thread, I accessed the course using the course tool. the course tool put me back at the beginning although my access to the course directly by just opening it from the go box or the library showed my progress to segment 8 in the course which is where I was in L7. After I accessed it in the course tool, it then appeared in the "+"and I added it as a card on the dashboard.

So, apparently the course tool keeps track of progress in a course in a different way than when the course is accessed from outside the course tool. However, the progress in a video in the course is the same when accessed either way.

Is this intended behavior of the software or a bug?

It's been like this since L7 (here's why). Somewhere there is a command whereby you can get the Course tool to update it's progress based on the information from outside the tool. If/when I find the thread, I'll post it here.
