Notes Issue: Multi-select not fully functional

First, let me say that my ability to view my notes and notebooks and to select multiple notes at all is a vast improvement. Thank you.

With the new capabilities, I was in a position to clean up a bunch of stuff. When I got my filter to show just the notes I was interested in, I was using the multi-select capability (shift key), generally with a desire to select all the listed notes. When there were over 50 notes, this didn't go smoothly.

- After clicking on the top note to select it, "Shift+End" should select all notes. It didn't do that. Also, in the same situation, "Ctrl+A" should select all notes; but it didn't work either.

- "Shift+PgDn" to select the next pages of notes worked very intermittently, mostly not at all.

- "Shift+Down" worked mostly. Since the selected notes are off-screen once you get past the first 8 or so notes, it's selecting notes you can't see. When it reached 50 selected notes, "Shift+Down" quit working. I had to use the scroll bar to scroll down to see the last selected note before Shift+Down started selecting again. And that would only go so far the second time.

Again, I'm glad to be able to do this at all. But the keyboard combinations for mult-select of a list are extremely well established at this point and should be respected when the list of notes has the focus.

Thanks again,

Donnie

This is a known issue that they are working on due to the fact that it has not loaded all of the notes into the pane and therefore can't select all at once if there are more than 50 notes.

Logos might see this faster in the Note forum.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks Donnie, I am glad you are enjoying the new notes tool.

As was mentioned, we hope to improve multiselect in the future.
