That's actually a great feature to have available. I have some of my desktop installation that I've hidden, but it's good to know that I can access them via the web for the rare occasions I might need to.

I can tell you that it's unlikely any time soon. We have a long list of features we hope to bring to the web over the next year and I have not heard this one discussed. This can obviously change, so understanding your use cases for hidden resources on the web could help us make better decisions there.

We realize the web app has a long way to go to match the many features of the desktop software. We continue to develop more and more of those for the web app so we appreciate the feedback from users who are finding value in using Logos on the web.

I guess I just don't understand why the desktop app would give you the option but the web version wouldn't. It's nice to hide one of my two NASBs, etc.
My understanding would be that some users hide some things that are redundant copies or books in obscure languages such as arabic - but those would nearly never interfere with library searches or their study work. However, some users hide hundreds of books (e.g. all from Perseus in Latin, or in Greek), or the largest ones etc. in order to save space on their HDD - those users need the option on the desktop, but this is not an issue for server-driven libraries in the web app.
So there's a stronger priority for this feature on the desktop, while on the web app it's "nice" but many other things are very important for many users, thus they will be developed first. Maybe in five years' time there is a 100% feature parity between web, desktop and mobile.
You can open a uservoice for such things and try to lobby for it - if it catches on and many votes show that many users would desire such a feature over others, this may change the priority list. prior to that.
