Notes editing menu

The menu at the top of each note (font, points, bold, italic, etc) used to change when active. In other words you could see that the next letter would be bold, italic, etc. Now the behavior of typed text is affected, but the clue from looking at the menu is lost. (I suspect that this would be a VERY easy fix, in object-oriented programming.)
I begin each note with text highlighted like this:
...to the shields...
This was easy to set up before Logos 8, using the notes editing menu. You can still set up the default font and font size, but not the other attributes. I would think that this would be another slam-dunk for developers, and would be greatly appreciated by users who have to use extra keystrokes for every note.
