I noticed from the tutorial videos there are images that are displayed on the homepage and there are up to 4 and 5 pages on the homepage, whereas my homepage is only 1 page. How can the images be displayed on my homepage?
Did you purchase a Logos 4 package or did you just download the free engine upgrade?
Logos 4 was purchased by my church. I do not know about a free engine upgrade.
How can the images be displayed on my homepage?
The content of the front page is randomly generated based on what you ask to have included. You'll find the menu at the bottom left of the home page. I've forgotten how to refresh the page. But this should get you a bit further along. Note also that you need to be connected to the internet.
Click on the Customize menu at the bottom left of the home page, and make sure that "Excerpts" is checked:
The check is there and still no images. Could there be a problem with the instalation?
In the Library window, enter "type:media" without the quotes:
Does it show media collection resources like those shown above? These are the resources used for displaying pictures on the homepage.

I have most of those resources but they don't show media collection resources as shown above. What is it that am really missing?
No, it's not missing, I've just added the "type" column to my Library view, which isn't shown by default. You can too by right clicking on the Header row and selecting which columns you want to display.
But as to your home page display, the "Excepts" portion is generated randomly (as M.J. said) and is based on the books in your Library. You can press F5 for it to regenerate. Maybe it will show images then.
I don't have any further advice--perhaps someone else will. If it really concerns you, you could always call Customer Support and have them look at it via your internet connection.
Todd, I guess I will have to do that. But thanks very much for your time and help.
Hey guys! this is a problem I have had as well, but only on my "home" profile (in Windows 7). On my "work" profile, the pictures show up. [:O]
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be?
Hi Virgil. This is off topic, but are you an alumnus of WIC?
I THINK I'VE FIGURED IT OUT! Hooray for ME! Because I've had this issue as well...
Go to Tools --> Program Settings and make sure the Program Scaling is set to 100%.
I had set mine to 120% and as soon as I put it back, the graphic came back.
Good luck!
Hi Lynden, Yes I am an alumnus of WIC/NCU. Good to know you are on the cutting edge with Logos Bible Software. Lets keep in touch.

Carmen, thank you. Mine was already set at 100%. What I did was uninstalled the software and then re-installed. Going through this process was quite tedious, but the images are showing now.
