 hi everybody

As it's been pointed out in many other forums that the UI Explorer eventually will have settings to turn some things off.

The amount of information being displayed in the Explorer is huge. You can scroll and scroll and scroll. Eventually you'll come to the end of it, I do like the new card system on the dashboard,

Going back many years I could not read or write. I was presented with a Gideon Bible and I said to myself as I flicked through the pages. I wish I could read and understand the contents during that time of my life. There were no computers, eventually when I did come in contact with computer technology, I realised what the potential has and what it could do in my situation with my severe dyslexia I cannot spell, I have difficulty with words and pronunciations. I rely on speech technology.

Over every version of logos has never disappointed me. There are always going to be nearly things. The biggest thing for me is the way things are laid out. So how do I turn off or ignore the Explorer section temporary. I thought about going back to version 7 ,Today I had a problem with Internet connection

And I loaded my library up and there was no Explorer data just cards about using the new Workflow

Even though I may lose some new functions, but it does give me the flexibility to wait until amendments to be made to the way the UI works

I would like to say thank you for all the team and people on the forum for all their help and encouragement is difficult to know individuals in the sense of what's going on in their individual lives. I'm not a scholar. I'm just a user of logos Bible study software, which is giving me the tools to fulfil my dream I had before computers became a commonplace my dyslexia is now in a place of it can be managed with all the difference amazing tools that people develop

Between all the positive and negative. I find it encouraging that where things need fixing. They will eventually be addressed

just my thoughts on version 8

I used speech technology to communicate and help me with my dyslexia. Sorry for lack of punctuation and any wrong pronounce words

Michael, I, too salute you on your persistence and hard work.

You can't do that right now.

Perhaps you'd be better to start from a layout rather than the Home Page if you need to ignore the Explore section. That setting is in Tools-Program Settings. All of the automatic layouts you'd discover using the Go bar on the home page can be found under the Layouts icon on the Menu bar.

The two do not go together. They will remain separate. (You can do a lot more in desktop layouts that you currently can on mobile devices, but its a step in the right direction.)
