Pre-order, Pre-pub, and Community Pricing Resources in Logos 8 Base Packages

There are a number of pre-order, pre-pub, and community pricing resources in Logos 8 base packages. These will transition by the end of this week; bidding on community pricing resources will close and pre-pub and pre-order resources will begin to get ship dates. Why might this be important to know?

First, if you’ve bought a Logos 8 base package containing one of these products and have also pre-ordered (or bid on pre-pub or community pricing), rest assured, you won’t be charged twice, but you might receive some product transition emails! When the resource goes live, our system will see you already own it in the base package and you won’t be charged for it.

If you haven’t bought a Logos 8 base package containing one of these products, but you have pre-ordered or bid for one of these resources, you’ll get the resource at the pre-order, pre-pub, or community pricing price and the cost for that resource, which is built into the cost of the base package, will be dynamically priced (deducted) out of the final cost when you purchase Logos 8. So again, you won’t be charged twice!

We just wanted to make that clear!

If you haven't yet bought an L8 package, but have pre-pubs shipping in this batch, your L8 upgrade might be cheaper than the pre-pub price. If so, then either buy L8 now, or cancel the pre-pub if you know you're getting L8 soon. It will be much cheaper to pay for a resource as part of L8 than on Pre-Pub.
