After downloading A20
1. a Sync error appears every time the program opens. (see attached)
2. No matter how many times the icon is clicked no Sync occurs.

No, I am hard wired but have an active wireless connection also.
I replied in Laurens thread and added my log files over there.
For some reason I'm not getting notifications when responses are entered so my replies have been haphazard.

Could you briefly disconnect the internet from your computer. Open Logos4 go into preferences and press "reset defaults" Then turn the internet back on and see if you are able to sync. If it works then change your settings back to what they were.
I disconnected from the internet and Reset Defaults. The resulting Sync Error is gone but I'm not sure I'm in any better shape. I no longer have a Layouts selection item.
I'm not sure what it's doing but it remains unusable. It is generating Console Messages and is processing but I have no visual clues other then the Console Log. Attached are current logs and the program continues to process something.
I have the reply thing set to warn me of replies but it's not. So, I will monitor manually.

I'm not sure what you mean by "unusable" the logs are indicating that it is still syncing which may take some juice from the program until it is done. I would watch the console until it finishes syncing. It should only have to do a complete sync once, from then on it should just need to sync new data which will be smaller in size (in terms of data).
You were right.
Under A20 when I clicked on a Layout A20 crashed. After waiting until the afternoon for the syncing to complete I clicked a layout to do my study and all was well.
Unless something else occurs I would say that A21 has brought everything back to normal.
Now if I can just get the Forums Email Me When Someone Replies to work all would be well.
