Notes
I like the improvements to the Mobile App. One question. When I wish to select a verse to record a note, I can anchor the note to the words of the text, whereas in the previous iteration I had the option to anchor the note to the actual verse (I.e. to book, chapter, and verse). Is this a case of opperator on error on my part?

Tap on the verse you want (anywhere in the verse) then click on the kebab menu in the top right and add a note from there.

What do you mean by Kebab menu James? Is this new Logos 8 terminology? Is there a glossary somewhere I can access?

this was an informal term shared by Logos developers in the beta phase, referring to the three vertically stacked dots on the top right of many tabs that somewhat resemble a shish kebab or shashlik ( as opposed to three vertically stacked horizontal lines that sometimes are referred to as hamburger menu). It is not official language.
Edit: From a Google search of the forums it seems that some people used this even prior to L8 for similar looking UI items, maybe it comes from the Mac developer scene. No need to worry.

I didn’t learn the term from Logos - I’ve seen app developers use the term for long enough that it just embedded in my memory. But yeah, 3 vertical dots. Sorry about that!

FL recently stated that officially, in the documentation, at least on the desktop but I would assume the same across web & mobile, this is going to be referred to as the panel menu.

Thanks Randy! Actually I remembered someone, I think it was Bradley, stating the official name - but I couldn't recall it, or locate it in the massive number of posts these last days. That's why I tried Google on it, but failed to grab it. Panel menu it is, then.
