The icon to get back to your preferred Bible is missing in the IOS app. It is still there on the Android app.
This is an issue that has been discussed in a number of places - Faithlife are looking at what should be done about this but the last I have seen is that they aren't planning to bring that button back, They are looking at various options.
Actually, they may be bringing it back in some form. It’s listed in the FAQ.

A workaround would be to make a "Quickstart Layout" with just your preferred Bible on the Dashboard. (I seem to remember that it comes with a layout of Bible and Commentary). Then it takes two taps to get back to your Bible and another one to focus the page.

Thanks, Graham; I wasn't aware that this has been brought up already. I looked through the mobile apps forum but didn't see anything. When the forums quiet down a little, I may ask for some help in search techniques.

Thanks, Bruce; Since activating a layout will initially remove your current tabs, for me, it will introduce more trouble. I like the layouts feature and will be working with it gradually.
Whatever eventually become of the Bible button, it should be consistent across mobile platforms and devices.
