Renaming Books

Is there a way to do this? In L4 you could open up the library, click in the information button, click on the little pencil, and rename books. Can you do this in Logos 4 Mac? For some reason at least one of them has changed slightly between L4 and Logos 4 Mac.

It's just renamed in the library. It doesn't affect the bibliographic info.

It useful to edit a title to remove a subtitle that makes the name really
long. You can also edit/add the short title that is used as an alternate title in the Guide windows and when the tabs get tight.

I typed too fast. Maybe there should be a way to turn on grammar check as well as spell check. Wondering how we would use that feature, and didn't know it was even possible.

Thanks, I can see where that would be useful. Will we still be able to use the original title in our library along with the one we renamed. I could just see getting confused. I like the idea of creating shorter titles. I mean its much easier to say BDAG rather than its actual title.

And if you rename a book and don't like it. Deleteing the name of the name of the book should reset it to the default title.

That will actually turn out to be a nice feature, I never thought you could really do that because of publishers and copyright, but that will be nice.
