L8 Mobile App IOS Impressions
Overall I am impressed with the updates to the IOS mobile app.
However, when I am on my iPad I need to decide between the IOS app or using the web app. I prefer the web app layout/layouts rather than the tab set up with the IOS. I find it gets too many tabs as I study. Tabs defined really as a separate workspace. I also prefer the parallel resources tab in the web app rather than change resource in the IOS app. I want to be able to easily see what similar type resources are discussing the biblical text I am studying, not choosing from the library another resource. I can run a PG, but that opens resources in a new tab, not in the one with the bible. Since both apps are pretty much internet dependent, not sure how difficult some of these changes would be to make in the IOS app.
What I also think would be helpful is to have a second pane available when using the guides and have the resource open and then replace within the guide pane/tab. This of course should be an option, but it allows the user to get through lots of resources without each one opening in its own tab/workspace.
I can open a second pane in the PG, but I need to select the resource to open from the library...
The saved layouts are great where I want to have a tab for the PG, EG etc. along with the bible and preferred commentary.
Overall a good update. Let me know if I am missing something in my use of the IOS app.
Keep up the great work.

I would like the prayer box to me larger so that I can see all of the prayer request. I have missionaries and give me a list of 3 to 5 items, families I pray for that have more than one child or struggle they are deal with. To be able to cut and paste into the prayer box would be great! Currently on Mobil App it is limited and on the Windows desktop it takes an additional click to get to the detail beyond on line.
That said, thanks for all the new and great features and what I do on one platform updating on another.
Logos enhances my ministry greatly!

Hey John,
Thanks for providing some detailed feedback and suggestions. It's super helpful to our team.

Are you talking about making a "split" tab? Where you have a resource on one side and a Passage guide on the other? You can do this within the app by pressing the split-tab icon on the tab in the zoomed view (where you can see all of your open tabs.).
Another trick is that long-pressing on a link on iOS should give you the option to open the item in the current tab, the opposite tab, or the new tab.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your reply.
Opening the side bar on the PG, or any other guide is possible only if you select the text you want to include from the library.
I could not get the long hold to offer any options, just opened the resource in a new "tab".
I am open to trying any other advice you may have.
Thanks

Yes - the problem is that the long press option doesn't do anything when in the Guides.
