Change foreground color default

The default dark gray foreground color is hard for me to see. So I am manually changing the color to black. I don't see how to set black as the default color. Am I missing something easy? Suggestions?

    I am not aware of a default setting for this. As far as I know, changing it manually is the only option right now.

    I would love for this to be an option.

    Please allow users to set default Note Fonts.

    I would also like to see the ability to set a default font, font size, and foreground color. In my humble opinion, whoever decided on the dark gray foreground color made a big mistake. Having to manually change each one, takes extra time away from other things.
