Wipf and Stock Sale: A couple recommendations

I have not read either, but considering the price at which they are offered, I think the current sale is a good opportunity to get:
1) Vos' Biblical Theology: Old and New Testament.
There are many systematic or topical theologies out there, but biblical theology is harder to come by, especially at the level of the entire canon. The outline and 436 pages length suggest that this would be a useful resource to have. Beside a read through approach, it could be used to ponder the theology of specific parts of Scripture.
2) Garlington's An Exposition of Galatians: A Reading from the New Perspective.
If someone wants to evaluate what a NPP reading of Paul might result in, a commentary on Galatians is a shorter trip than one on Romans.

Geerhardus Vos is often called "the father of Reformed biblical theology". If you are Reformed and living in North America this sale is probably a good time to buy Vos' Biblical Theology.
However, coming from a Netherlands Reformed background I found his book too difficult to read and I did not even finish chapter one. It is very different from any other Biblical Theology (either English, Dutch or German) that I own.

I recommend Edward Fudge's "The Fire That Consumes: A Biblical and Historical Study of the Doctrine of Final Punishment, 3rd Edition." It's scholarly, readable and compelling. Whatever your theological position on the subject, this is a - if not the - key book to engage with. And it's currently 88% off! [:D]

My first purchase from the sale too. Went for it be because at $4.99 each it would easy to buy books for the sake of it and buy books that cover similar ground as others I own. This book doesn't do that and is one I've wanted to read for a long time.

You can get Ralph P Martin‘s Collection for $40 buck instead of $126 regular price: https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=ralph+p+martin
Also, this exposition in Psalm 119 is outstanding: https://www.logos.com/product/37964/the-word-of-god-in-the-child-of-god-exegetical-theological-and-homiletical-reflections-from-the-119th-psalm

On the Ralph P Martin link I provided you’ll find the titles sold separately. All those titles in a collection are worth $126, but now are each $4.99

Before this sale ends tomorrow are there any books that others consider "must buys"? I'm middle of the road "evangelical" in what I consider the historic sense of the word - certainly not using it politically - I'm British anyway. I've bought these so far:

There's a lot of good stuff in this sale, but one I would recommend for anyone interested in historical and systematic theology and a must-have for study of the atonement:

Perhaps, as FL systematizes systematic theology, they will include these 2. Now is the time to buy them at $4.99.

Thought I'd give this one a try too.
My Faithlife library is short of systematic theology books. Wish I'd bought Grudem's when it was $20 a few years ago, but unfortunately had previously bought in Olive Tree when it was $20.

I agree. Garrett is a tremendous value at $10 for the set.

Gosh... this sale killed me but it was too good to pass up on. The titles I grabbed if anyone is interested are:
In addition to those mentioned above: Habermas has a few in the sale, I grabbed some of Cyril Barber's commentaries, JESOT (Journals), and Biblical Eschatology by Menn (Haven't looked at this one yet but had a recommendation from a professor at TEDS), and William Craig's book on Free Will, The Only Wise God

Thanks Matillo. I too have added some Cyril Barber commentaries on books that I don't have many expositional commentaries - namely Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther and Jonah. I haven't checked them out yet, but wanted to buy before the day is out.

What a sale! But I had to turn down a few to keep myself in check 👍😁👌 I have what I need and could use instead of too much I won’t need nor use. Overall, God is great 👍
Thank you, FL and Wipf & Stock for this wonderful sale!
Now I’m looking forward to December to find out what’s going to be on sale. Hopefully, Baker can offer low prices similar to November’s sale 👍😁👌
