Can I use Highlighting on Notes?

I can get the highlighting to work on my Bible text, but not on clippings or notes. Am I doing something wrong, or is this not possible?

It works only for resources.

Are there any plans to get this to work with Notes? This is JUST what I need to use my notes more effectively and not OneNote or Word.

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago and was given a work around. Read the whole thread - there are two examples given.

The first suggests copying into MS Word, highlighting, and copying back into notes.
The other involves making a simple document in word with hightlighting. and copying that over to a note. This note then serves as a template for other notes.

Note - I have not tried this, just referring you to an answer that may help.
