I have read the forums on this topic but most are several years old, some even dating to 2013! At one time, of course, indexing was needed to help speed up the program's search time. But today with the speed of SSD's is indexing my library still as beneficial? Has anyone been able to do a test of the differences it makes? Because I also know that Window's indexing is best turned off when running from an SSD because it shortens the lifespan of the drive. And with how often Logos is updating and indexing (seems every other week) could this have detrimental effects on my SSD? Thoughts
