Attaching Note to a Reference & Edit Note in Mobile App
I have used notes functions for years in Logos and grown quite accustomed to how it works. One of my biggest usage of notes is to make my own "margin" notes for scripture and have always attached them to a reference so that they show up in any version of the Bible I'm using.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to attach a note to a reference in the Mobile App, with a new note or by editing a note. Can someone tell me how to create a new note attached to a reference?
Also, how do I edit a note;s attachment/reference once I've created a note?
Thanks.

You can select make a note with the reference text at the top, rather than selecting the text and making a note. It only works for a single verse. It is version independent. The annotation is not showing up on mobile but does on the laptop version. this is not ideal and I hope it gets fixed soon. The laptop version seems to work well.

Could you verify that you are running version 8.0.1+? It's possible that you're using an older version of the iOS app which doesn't support the NEW Notes system. Your notes taken in the old system would still appear in Logos 8 desktop via the automatic migration that's set up in the background, but those migrated notes wouldn't be displayed in the older iOS app.
Another possibility is that you simply have the display of notes turned off in the mobile app.
If this doesn't resolve the display issue, please post back and someone will surely be able to figure out where the problem lies.

Here's a screenshot from iPhone (note the reference change arrows at the top of the resource menu).

Unfortunately, I don't believe this is supported yet on mobile. You could do this on desktop or at app.logos.com.

I looks like a lot of your "notes" are showing up (highlights and notes live in the same database and are part of the same tool). I assume, however, that you are referring to the star note icon next to the pericope heading... Two thoughts:
- Have you give the app enough time (online) to fully populate the notes (it can take a while to migrate your notes from the old system depending on how many you have).
- Could you verify with a note attached to a Bible reference or Biblical text? I assume the note that's showing on the desktop is attached to the pericope heading and this could conceivably be a problem (bug) on mobile.

Tim, it sounds like you're experiencing the same bug that Jack Hairston mentions here. Hopefully, someone from FL can chime in.
BTW, do new notes that you create on mobile (which you say do display the note icon) appear on desktop? If so, try modifying one of those and see whether the change gets pushed back to mobile. I'd specifically try changing the note icon.
What are your app versions including the build number (e.g. 8.0.3.174)?
